신체에 착용하는 순간, 감각은 낯선 영역으로 진입합니다.
신작 〈소마 패치 0.5〉와 〈파인-튜닝되는 신체감각 2.1〉 은 관객의 몸 위에서 작동합니다. 시각이 흔들리고, 움직임이 달라지며, 익숙했던 감각의 좌표가 조금씩 어긋나기 시작할 때 비로소 기술과 신체 사이의 간극이 모습을 드러냅니다. 이 경험은 질문으로 이어집니다. 그 감각은 조율될 수 있는가.
두 번째 실험실의 문을 열며, 작가는 그간의 작업이 어떻게 전개되어 왔는지 그 질문들이 어디서 시작되었고, 어떤 방식으로 형태를 찾아왔는지를 렉처 퍼포먼스 형식으로 펼쳐 보입니다. 이야기는 작품 너머로 이어집니다. 감각을 실험하는 일, 신체를 매체로 삼는 일, 그리고 기술과 함께 살아가는 몸에 대한 지속적인 탐구에 대하여 작가가 구축해 온 언어로 직접 듣는 시간을 마련했습니다.

To open the Second Laboratory, Hoonida Kim invites us into the thinking behind his practice. In a lecture performance, he traces how his work has evolved returning to the questions that first compelled him, and following them through the forms they have taken over time.
At the center of this conversation is the body: what happens when sensation is tested, when physicality becomes a medium, when technology asks us to reconsider how we experience ourselves from within. Kim has spent years building a language for these questions. This is a chance to hear it in his own voice.
